A great sunrise is a gift, and I think it is one of the reasons I like waking up early in the morning just to see if I could witness one… And I am not sure I’ve seen many as glorious as this one, the reflection and ocean waves to the right put it in perfect balance with the light. Not a bad sight to wake up to 🙂
You have a great eye so thanks for saying it’s in balance. The island runs east-west so there aren’t many days when the sun actually rises over the ocean. It’s a wonderful way to start the day.
Love your interpretation of this market scene! I saw similar ones when I visited Vietnam, so this brings back fond memories. I love your art — the softness of the shapes and the use of color. So glad Tina Schell mentioned you in her post on Creativity. You are quite good at what you do.
Jane, What a glorious photo. Brings back such wonderful memories of early morning walks on the beach. Thank you. 😍

I so appreciate your comments. It’s great you had a chance to see Vietnam. I was there about 20 years and expect some of the old markets are gone.

Some but not all. We were there last November. Loved the country, the people, the markets, especially in the countryside.

I feel fortunate to have traveled. We went to Hanoi and bought a number of wonderful gouache and oil paintings. There were lots of galleries then.
