Sunrise Reflection – Kiawah Island

This is my interpretation of a photo I took last summer. The sunrise itself was beautiful but the reflection it cast on the clouds was incredible.
Inle Lake, Myanmar

Myanmar is an interesting country with fascinating sites and sub-cultures. Inle Lake, which is famous for its floating villages and gardens, is ringed by pagodas and monasteries. The Intha people base their communities entirely on the water. In an effort to preserve this unique culture, UNESCO has declared Inle a biosphere reserve.
Going-to-the Sun Road

Going-to-the Sun Road is a narrow, two-lane road that runs from the east entrance to the west entrance of Glacier National Park. Its winding hairpin turns are not for the faint of heart. The highest point on the 50-mile road is Logan Pass. At this point there’s a steep hiking trail to a beautiful alpine meadow that’s inhabited by bighorn sheep and mountain goats.
Hvar, Croatia

Like a string of pearls, beautiful islands trace the Croatian coastline. Hvar, with its gorgeous harbor and lavender-covered hills, is incredibly charming.

Sidi’s roadside market, sheltered by a magnificent live oak, has been a Johns Island, South Carolina landmark for decades.
